Peace fellow hip hoppers!!! I know it's only 3 weeks into January but fuck 2007 has been busy. To make up for my absence I have links to both shows that aired since my last post. Let's start with the most recent. Episode #88 is a special treat so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LINK AND DOWNLOAD WHILE IT'S STILL ACTIVE. After diggin through thousands of old cassettes that were buried in my closet, I unearthed a gem of a mixtape that I thought I'd share. It was done in 1989 by none other than DJ Irv. That's right Irv Gotti of Murder Inc on the wheels of steel at the age of 18. My man was nice with his. This is some real hip hop shit with a splash of r&b blended in the way it's supposed to be. Check it out...

If that's not enough, also starting this Friday (and continuing the first friday of every month) DJ/Producer extraordinaire Ras Beats will spin for half the show. As much as I love technology it certainly frustrates me. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties with the server I was unable to post a link to last week's show. Luckily I got it straightened out just in time for the 3 year anniversary extravaganza with The Juggaknots. Big up to the whole crew...Breezly Bruin, Queen Heroine, and Buddy Slim. We had a blast celebratin. Lots of bong hits to go around which set the mood for an ill freestyle cypha over an array of beats supplied by yours truely. The highlight of the evening had to be Breeze doing "Dear Autumn", an interpolation of Jay Z's "Dear Summer", over a sizzling hot Jay Dee donut. If that's not enough I hit ya with a bunch of heaters. Pay close attention to Ghostface rhymin over Eric B and Rakim's "Juice (Know The Ledge)", Mad Skillz "Hip Hop Died", and Game absolutely destroying G-Unit rhymin on Jay Z's "Kingdom Come". Now that's what I call an anniversary show!!!

After a spontaneous and very needed vacation I return with a stack of heat rocks. Something like 20 or so joints. I locked the studio doors this week so there's no guest. It's just me, a bag of weed, and a 3 foot glass bong. Just how I like it!!! I'm gonna keep it short and sweet cause I'm killing myself tryin to put together the ill anniversary show. It's hard to believe it's been 3 years already. Damn time flies when you're havin fun. Stay tuned details to come.
